Brad Pitt has been revealed as the famous man most women
would like to accompany them on a dream road trip.
A survey carried out by Diamond, a direct motor insurer
specialising in car insurance for women, questioned female customers about
their fantasy road trip. The USA emerged as the most popular destination
and Brad Pitt as most popular male, suggesting women are inspired by road
trip film Thelma and Louise and the infamous scene where Brad reveals
all! Thelma and Louise is also the favourite road trip movie of the women
surveyed.
It seems women's taste in men matures with age, Sean Connery
proves he still has a licence to thrill as the favourite choice for women
over 45. Interestingly, one respondent demonstrated her faith that Elvis
is alive and well by picking him as her ideal road trip companion.
Least popular choices of famous men to share a road trip
with were Eminen and Noel Gallagher. It seems that women do not want to
drive off into the sunset with a "bad boy".
The survey also asked respondents to say which famous woman
they would like to accompany them on their dream road trip. 26 per cent
said they would not take a famous woman- not really surprising when you
could have Brad Pitt to yourself. Out of those surveyed who did choose
a famous woman, Kylie Minogue emerged as top choice. Sian Lewis, managing
director of Diamond said, "I think Kylie's popularity is down to
her small size - you could fit her in and still have plenty of room for
all your luggage!"
