Eva Green
Her role as Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale has made an international star of Eva Green. The French-born actress smoulders on screen and has been turning heads with her groomed, on-trend look on the red carpet.
Darren says: "Eva’s look is low maintenance and is the epitome of wash and wear. This can be created by applying a smoothing cream such as Techni.art by L’Oreal Liss Control to towel-dried hair. A small amount of this applied to the hair will keep the formation, it can then even be left to dry naturally or rough dried with a diffuser to keep it feeling fresh and light."
"For a finishing touch add Techni.art by L’Oreal Colour Show Liss Cream by rubbing into your palms and then raking through the hair to separate waves and create that next day feel."
Jennifer Aniston
Years after that infamous hairstyle, ‘The Rachel’, sent women scurrying in their hundreds to their hairstylist, Jennifer Aniston still has celebrity hair icon status. She consistently pulls off a look that embodies the laid-back LA style infused with red carpet glamour.
Darren says: "This look is much more high maintenance. Much more work goes into achieving this soft, natural, feel. Before blow-drying apply some Kerastase Resistance Mousse Volumactive to the hair. Then blow-dry the hair with volume at the root by lifting it at a 90 degree angle. This must not be over-done, however, as it needs to flow without looking too set."
"Jennifer’s fringe goes across the right eye so it should be blow dried to the left side first, left to cool for a few seconds and then pushed back to the right. Rub a small amount of Kerastase Nutritive Lumiere Sculpt into your hands and then rake through the hair to take down any fluffiness and separate ends to achieve that slightly more defined look, but always keeping it natural. To finish use a soft hold hair spray to stop any moisture coming back."
Agyness Deyn
Having been crowned Model of the Year, 2007, at the British Fashion Awards, model of the moment Agyness can’t put a foot wrong in the style stakes. Her nu-rave, punky crop is bang-on-trend.
Darren says: "This short style can be achieved by applying some Kerastase Reflection Chroma Protect to rough dried hair. Using a heat retaining brush such as the D:Fuse Tourmaline Radial Brush the hair should be pushed from side to side whilst drying to give maximum shine and to take out the texture. This will ensure that the cuticles are all smooth. To finish mix a small amount Fudge Hair Varnish and Fudge Hair Shaper in your hands and rub through hair to create that messy, texturised finish." |
